A Talk on: From Crisis to What Christ Sees
September 19th, 2009Of Cory Aquino and Childhood Dreams
August 1st, 2009As I write this, it is a lazy Sunday morning and I am wearing a yellow and green Christ the King (CTK) Stewardship shirt. As I reflect on the colors, I am brought back to the year 1986 when I would walk around the UP Diliman campus as a college student in a bright yellow shirt, green over-alls, with a round button pin which bore the words: Sobra na, tama na, palitan na. (You have gone overboard. Let’s put a stop to this. We need change.)

Getting Your Book Ready
June 27th, 2009Coming out with a book is no walk in the park (it’s a lot of hard work actually) so my suggestion is if it isn’t really your lifelong dream and if you don’t like books and writing that much, don’t even start the process. It can get pretty stressful.
What Do I Own and What Owns Me by Daniel Conway
May 30th, 2009The book What Do I Own and What Owns Me by Daniel Conway is published/distributed in the Philippines by Claretian Publications. It is a good book to start reading if one wants a basic explanation of what stewardship means as a way of life.
Mother Power
May 9th, 2009Manny Pacquiao just knocked the lights out of Ricky Hatton last weekend. As Filipinos, we are all truly happy about Manny Pacquiao’s victory. Personally, I like Manny Pacquiao a lot — he has a warm, charming smile; uses his punching power and talent to the hilt; and he never fails to acknowledge the One true Source of all his gifts — the Lord.
Bishop Chito Tagle and the Parable of the Good Samaritan
April 30th, 2009This is my last post as I attempt to summarize the main teachings in the Lenten Recollection that I attended, with Bishop Chito Tagle as recollection master. Sorry for the delay in the conclusion of this series, but the mother in me has been very busy.
Bishop Chito Tagle and the Parable of the Prodigal Son
April 9th, 2009This is a parable that we all know so well. Some priests and bishops say that this should be called The Parable of the Loving Father or The Parable of the Two Lost Sons.
